MadeThisWeek is run by JonnyLab. This page says what we collect and why.

When you sign in

We use GitHub sign-in and store your GitHub user id, username, display name, avatar URL and account creation date. The creation date sets your vote weight. We do not request access to your repositories or email.

Visits we count

When you open a product's site from MadeThisWeek, we store a salted one-way hash made from your IP address, browser user agent and the date, so the same person counts once per product per day. We do not store the IP address or user agent.

Cookies

We set a sign-in cookie and a short-lived cookie during GitHub sign-in. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.

Payments

Premium launches are paid through Dodo Payments, which processes your payment details as merchant of record. We receive the payment id, status and amount, not your card details.

What is public

Launch pages, your username on comments you post, and upvote and visit counts are public.
